Astellas partnered with Donate Life Hollywood—a liaison between the organ and tissue donation community and the entertainment industry—to host this year's Donate Life Hollywood Film Festival, which opened at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills on June 11, 2010.
Through workshops, film screenings, and the 2010 Donate Life Hollywood Inspire Awards, the two-day festival seeks to encourage and honor actors, producers, and writers who promote positive, accurate stories about organ donation and transplantation in television and film.
